Dr. Huynh called the meeting to order at 12:03 pm.
- SP training program – improving interrater reliability – Ashleigh Wright and Bree Tierno
- Dr. Wright and Dr. Tierno presented improvements for the Anaclerio Learning and Assessment center’s standardized patients’ training for patient simulation activities and assessments. These improvements were designed to improve the reliability of using standardized patients for rating student performance.
- LCME Standard 7 proposals – changes – Kathy Green
- Kathy presented upcoming element changes in the curriculum verbiage from the LCME that will be implemented in the 2027-2028 academic year.
- These changes include teaching the appropriate use of AI and the role of nutrition in preventing and managing chronic disease.
- Nutrition Curriculum – Sophia Monteau
- Sophia presented on the current Nutrition and Health curriculum that is taught across all four years and shared the plans for further integration into the curriculum.
